Our Auroville guest house has 23 rooms in 7 houses spread over 8 acre property with a 350 meters sea frontage.
We are different from the typical hotel or guest house as we give more importance to guests as well as help the world to preserve natures’s rich and heritage.
To keep you company, there are dozens of birds , squirrels, reptiles, bugs and mosquitoes in the property. We thus like to advise you to keep your room, windows and doors, closed at all times to ensure that theses insects do not enter your room also your room is equipped with electric mosquito repellents.
Bed sheet washed daily in thousands of hotels worldwide use millions of gallons of water and tons of detergent. Therefore, we request you to help us in conserving water and save the environment.
House Keeping is done daily(even if you are not there), towels are changed every 3 days or upon individual request.
Our salt water swimming pool is a sensitive one, please wear only a proper synthetic swimwear and if you come from the beach rinse the sand before going to the pool in the beach shower.
There is an Italian restaurant inside the compound, which open’s every day from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Dinner can be ordered and delivered to the room from our nearby restaurants (ECR or Auroville) and the number is available in the menu.
A level of noise is to be kept within the tolerable level especially after 09:00 PM as there are other family are around.
We are happy to be of service when it is needed between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., and of course, in the case of emergency, there will always be somebody at the Guest House, 24 hours a day.But remember, this is not a hotel, we do not have a 24/7 reception or room service, so we expect you to respect our privacy and family time from 05:00 p.m. to 8:30 a.m.Nevertheless, for your convenience, we have provided a kettle and complimentary tea in your room, which will be daily refilled.
Inappropriate behavior from guests may result is cancellation of stay and Guests are financially liable for damages incurred while their stay.
As this is an Auroville community we highly discourage the consumption of Alcohol inside the community and smoking inside the room is not allowed. You will find an ashtray outside of your room, please make use of it.
